Competition Winner

winnerI am pleased to announce that the winner of my recent competition was …

a moderator on the Canadian Metal Detecting Forum

Over 80 people entered the competition and I’d like to send a big thank you to everyone who participated and making it a great success. Unfortunately you didn’t win this time, but there will be an opportunity if I ever have another contest.

This was Micheal’s guess … and he was spot-on!

Incidentally, before anyone gently chastises me for incorrectly spelling the name, that is correct and how Micheal is known. I will be contacting him for an address and the prize of digital pocket scales and medallion will soon be winging their way across the Pond … just in time for Christmas.

  1. Good to see someone guessed correctly.
Just as a matter of interest i previously wanted to contact Dick Stout. I looked through the contacts on the side of the blog and thought the bloke holding the wine was you.

  2. Thank you very much John. And yes, that is the correct way to spell my name. Seems as though my parents wanted a slightly Gaelic name for their pride and joy. Lol since they came from strong Scottish stock..

I hope that you and others will enter my contest for a gold coin..

    Thank you again

  3. Well done Micheal, Good guess.
